Doodle Journal: 2018 Goals

I created some goals — nothing too restrictive — for 2018 in the form of a doodle page in my new journal. I have discovered this way of journaling on Instagram and fell in love. Not only does it allow me to practice brush lettering and decorative doodles, but it also helps me focus on key words to inspire/motivate me and that express my current moods/feelings.

2014 Resolutions

I try not to make New Year’s Resolutions often.  I used to make a list in my journal and look back on it wondering why there are a couple I never follow through with.  They wind up on the list every damn year!  This year, I am not going to resolve to lose a certain amount of weight, finish a number of projects by 2015, fall in love, or save a crazy amount of money.

Time To Move On…

Sandy Lo discusses her decision to leave Nashville and move back to New York as well as future plans…   I am someone who adapts easily, embraces change and looks forward to new adventures and setting new goals for myself. For these reasons alone, I have decided to move back to New York. To many, this comes as a surprise. I’ve been hearing things like, “I thought you loved Nashville?” Oh, and I do love Nashville—very much so! I will miss all of my friends, who have become a second family to me. I will miss the cafes and convenience of things being fairly close together.
