October at The Merry Bake Shop: Seasonal Treats & Book Pop-Ups
Happy October! I absolutely love fall. While it takes a little longer for the air to feel crisp here in Jacksonville, the spooky celebrations and harvest festivities around town always help set the mood. I’m so excited for the events I’ll be popping up at this month!
There’s plenty of fall flavor on the October menu, too! My Caramel Apple Cider Mini Donuts have been a hit, so grab some while you can. I’m also excited to introduce my new Pumpkin Marshmallow Cookies! Take a peek at the full menu below and preorder your favorites for pickup.
I’ll be back at Brew & Browse at Lucky Goat Coffee in Bartram Park for their second Saturday pop-up. September’s market was a huge hit, and I met so many wonderful people! This month’s market has a Howl-o-ween theme, with plenty of fun activities for your pups—so bring your dog, and don’t forget their costume! I’d love to bring Yuna, but once we load up the car with my market supplies and products, there’s unfortunately no room left for her.
I’ll also be returning to the North City Farmers Market in St. Augustine for the morning market on October 11 and the Spooky Sunday night market on October 25. Spooky Sunday includes trick-or-treating, so be sure to stop by my booth for Halloween stickers and vegan candy!
On October 16, I’m honored to be joining Quillow Acres, a farm sanctuary, for their Hearts and Hooves event. I can’t wait to meet the animals and enjoy the fall BBQ and barn dance! I’m hoping to have some family with me so I can sneak away from the booth for a little of the fun, too.
All of these events are free to attend! Along with my baked goods, I’ll have my books, stickers, and a Santa Letter station where kids—or anyone feeling festive—can write a letter to Santa. For anyone wanting a handwritten, personalized letter from Santa, you’ll also find a discreet way to order one on top of the North Pole mailbox.
