About Breaking The Moon
In the beginning, love is as easy as breathing.
After almost two years of dating, Haley Foster and Jordan Walsh are the perfect couple. They’re young, carefree, deeply in love,
and on the brink of the careers they once only dreamed about.
Then Haley discovers she’s pregnant.
Suddenly, the future they thought they understood becomes much more complicated. As Haley tries to make sense of the life-changing news, Jordan is forced to confront his own demons and the painful past that shaped the way he views love, family, and commitment.
The harder they try to hold onto the life they built together, the more the cracks begin to show.
Breaking The Moon continues Haley’s journey of self-discovery in a story about love, heartache, family, growing up, and what happens when loving someone isn’t always
enough to make everything easy.
When their world shatters, Haley and Jordan have to decide whether they can pick up the pieces — together.

Behind Breaking The Moon
When I wrote Dream Catchers, Haley and Jordan’s story didn’t feel finished.
Breaking The Moon gave me the opportunity to move their relationship beyond the excitement of falling in love and explore what happens when two young people suddenly have to face much bigger questions about their future.
The story digs deeper into Jordan’s past, his complicated feelings about family, and the emotional baggage that doesn’t simply disappear because you’ve found someone you love.
It also continues Haley’s evolution from the sheltered young woman readers met in Dream Catchers into someone learning to trust herself, make difficult decisions, and figure out the life she truly wants.
What began as a continuation of Haley and Jordan’s story would eventually become part of a much bigger world as the Dream Catchers series expanded to follow the people surrounding them, too.
